Just two days left... I had been searching for a cure. A cure for my diabetes. I watched family lose limbs and eventually die from this disease. While mine has been well controlled, I just wanted to be a non-diabetic. So much money and research has gone into finding a cure, but, still eludes the medical community. One day last year as I searched online for what was new in the find for a cure, I came across compelling information about gastric bypass surgery. I talked with bariatric surgery specialists about it. I decided to go for it. 90% of people with diabetes who have the surgery are cured 'instantly'. INSTANTLY!? They don't know why yet. Some guess it has to do with moving the colon to attach higher on the stomach and that impacts hormones. Whatever the reason, it works. I decided I want this. I want the cure. I love the blue stone. When I think of Tula Light, these stones come to my mind. For me they represent earth and sky. They are beautiful, sturdy, smooth and have many uses. The are lightness and they are heaviness. They are cool and they are warm. They are this and they are that. I like to think of my contributions to the world being equally 'well rounded'.
